Looking to break into the acting business? Can you play a college student or reporter?

According to auditionfinders.com, the yet-unnamed HBO film stars Al Pacino as Penn State coach, Joe Paterno. The film follows his legendary rise to fame as Penn State's football coach and then his quick fall as revelations arose that he was covering up the fact that Jerry Sandusky was molesting children.

Casting director Grant Wilfley will be looking for men and women in the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas between the ages of 18 and 25 to play extras in the film, which is being filmed in the Bronx. How cool would it be to work with legendary actor, Al Pacino? You probably won't actually work with him, but you may see him walk by on the set. Most likely, he won't actually be on the set while your scenes are being filmed. I didn't want to set you up for a world of disappointment.

Auditions are being held this Friday, August 25, so here's what you need to do:

Send the following information to, ulp@gwcnyc.com. and include your name, phone number, union status, current sizes, along with two or three current photos. Write "Bronx Daily Voice" in the subject line. Good news — this is a paying gig. I'll leave you with one of my favorite Al Pacino scenes from the film Any Given Sunday.
