Nasty Bus Crash in Connecticut Sends 10 to Hospital
Two buses crashed into each other in Greenwich on Tuesday sending 10 adults to the hospital.
From Greenwich PD's Twitter page the good news was that there were no life-threatening injuries among the 10. The two buses involved were a Countrywide Transportation bus, with nine people on board, and a Royal Coach Line school bus with only the driver onboard.
Many people who were close to the crash scene stopped and offered to lend a hand to the injured. It appears that one bus was traveling north and the other going south on King St. around 3 pm on Tuesday.
Police closed down King in both directions as they continued to find out exactly what happened. Greenwich police are asking anyone who might have witnessed the accident to call Sargeant Patrick Smythe at 203-622-8015.
