If you've always had the dream of appearing on the big screen, this may be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

Elizabeth Banks, Sigourney Weaver, Kate Mara and Chris Messina are all slated to star in a movie called Call Jane that's being filmed in Hartford, and the casting company, Citrola Casting has put out a casting call and is currently looking for extras to appear in the film.

According to middletownpress.com, the film is based on a married women who has an unwanted pregnancy and lives in a time in America where she can't get a legal abortion, and works with a group of suburban women who try to find help for her.

Call Jane is a women’s rights indie drama directed by Carol screenwriter Phyllis Nagy.

So what will your role as an extra entail? According to a press release from the casting company, you may be required to do a number of different tasks in the scene you're selected to be an extra in. You could be a walker in a scene, sitting with a friend, engage in pretend conversation, cross the street between camera shots, or doing a specific tasks that will be assigned on the day of the shoot.

The workday may be long, up to 12 hours is possible, and you will be supplied with snacks, water, coffee throughout the day, and a hot meal will also be provided if you're required to be there for the full 12 hour day.

If you're interested, you have to register and answer a number of questions on the casting company's site, (link appears earlier in this article). You'll be asked to include your measurements, your location in Connecticut to Harford, a head shot, and a full body shot. And yes, this is a paid gig.
