I refuse to go without a bracket, let's find the best TV show of all time. Now, let's talk about how I set the field, I wrote down a list of what I think are the best shows of all-time, I then consulted a few lists online to make sure I wasn't missing any classics and I came up with a field of 64. Next, I seeded the field and got to working with the digital team on how we would do this.

I can already see that the seeding is flawed based on "Curb Your Enthusiasm" being an overall #32 seed but the list and seeding looked a lot better when I could present the entire field of 64 which I can't do for free so this is what we have to work with. I never intended for "Curb" to be seeded that low, it was one of four shows I had listed as an 8 seed and since it was the last in the group that's where it put the show. You will see other examples like this but the field is still very strong.

Let's get going. Choose carefully, the votes will get us down to the Sweet Sixteen.

Again, if you are curious why your favorite classic TV show did not make it, it's probably on the list below. The software I used would only let me do a 32 team field for free and I'm not paying one dollar for anything right now. I'm not cheap, you are cheap.

  • It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
  • ER
  • Sex & The City
  • Roseanne
  • Homeland
  • The Mary Tyler Moore Show
