At the height of her comedy career, Lisa Lampanelli was known as "The Queen of Mean" and had established a reputation as the world's best roaster.

If you Google "Roast (Comedy)" it's defined as the following:

"A roast is a form of humor in which a specific individual, a guest of honor, is subjected to jokes at their expense, intended to amuse the event's wider audience."

A roast takes place with the guest of honor seated prominently on the stage, with a podium close by and in the background, or off to the side is a panel known as a dais. During her years on the roast circuit, Lisa was one of the most respected and feared comedians on the dais, no matter who was invited.

Before the "woke culture" took the national steering wheel, televised roasts were a big deal and Comedy Central was the network that broadcasted the most high-profile of these events. Lampanelli famously roasted David Hasselhoff, William Shatner and Donald Trump just to name a few. Her televised insults will live on in infamy for many years to come.

A few years back, Lampanelli retired from comedy and started to focus her time and energy on positivity, using life coaching and public speaking as her new platforms of choice.

Recently, Lisa started a new podcast called "Losers with a Dream" where she and her two co-hosts Beau McDowell and Nick Scopoletti tackle heavy social topics but do it in a funny, and easily digestible way.

"Losers with a Dream" has been an instant success with comedy and podcast fans. Lisa will be recording a new episode of the podcast on Sunday December 12, 2021 at the Stress Factory in Bridgeport, CT.

Lisa came to Brookfield, CT on Monday (11/15/21) to join the Ethan and Lou Show on I-95 to promote the podcast recording and shred us on the air. Lisa is always a lot of fun to be with, and these are some of our favorite moments from Lisa's most recent appearance.

Lisa says she hates Kenny G's hair and tells Lou he's not good enough for his wife.

Lisa on staph infections, romantic comedies and the word "triggered."

Lisa on being rich, shaving privates and when she will "roast" again.

Lisa talks up her new podcast "Losers with a dream."

Danbury Officials Throw Parade for UFC Champ + Hat City Resident Glover Teixeira

Glover Teixeira had already met with the new Mayor Elect and was swarmed by fight fans and Hat City residents in Roger Park. All that was left to do was an official parade and ceremony for the public which took place on Sunday November 14, 2021. Flanked by local officials Glover took a ride down Main Street to Rogers Park where he was gifted a plaque commemorating his victory over Jan Blachowicz.

Danbury Bennigan's Building Gets Torn Down

Bennigan's Restaurant has been closed for many years in Danbury, Connecticut but the building has remained empty. Hat City residents have had to stare at the eyesore for far too long in a prominent location at 106 Federal Road. Today, (3/23/21) the building was taken down and I-95 was there to witness it and captures these exclusive images.

Vacant Brookfield Properties Give Me the Creeps

Brookfield Connecticut is a beautiful New England town with picturesque landscapes and architecture. It does have one section of road that is about a mile long, that time has forgotten. When the highway got extended, the life started to drain from this portion of Federal Road and COVID-19 put the finishing touches on any business that was hanging on for dear life. There are supposed to be people in these places, that's why they were made. The absence of humanity in these spaces makes them tragic and chilling.

High Definition View From Way Above Bethel

Bethel is a beautiful place to stroll around at street level or to view from above like "basspig" did with their drone, from high above the town.
