161 Connecticut residents lost their lives on September 11, 2001. They along with the other 2,835 should never be forgotten.With thanks to the Danbury Patch, they are:

Michael Grady Jacobs (Danbury) - 54 - Accountant/Vice President for Tax Operations Fiduciary Trust International. Michael worked on the 90th floor of 2 World Trade Center and is survived by his wife and 4 children.

Candace Lee Williams (Danbury) - 20 - Candace was a Northeastern University student and was on Flight 11 heading to California after completing a successful internship.

Judith Florence Hofmiller - (Brookfield) - 53 - Judith was a Senior Software Consultant and was working in Tower 1 on the 97th floor. She was planning on marrying her longtime love at Brookfield Town Hall.

Howard Joseph Heller Jr. (Ridgefield) - 37 - Howard was a Managed Funds Expert and was working in Tower 1 on the 92nd floor. Howard is survived by his wife and 4 children.

Robert Higley, II (Ridgefield) -27 - Robert lost his life while was working in Tower 2 and is survived by his wife and 2 daughters.

Tyler Ugolyn (Ridgefield) -23 - Tyler was one of the youngest victims of the 9/11 tragedy and had just graduated from Colombia University to start his dream job at the World Trade Center as a research associate for Fred Alger Management, Inc.

Robert J. Gerlich (Monroe) - 56 - Robert was an accountant consultant on the 94th floor of Tower 1. His loves were his family and baseball. He is survived by his wife and 2 sons.

Raymond J. Metz III (Trumbull) - 37 - Raymond was a Currency Broker for Euro Brokers, Inc. He loved playing hockey and skiing and is survived by his wife and two daughters.

Edward T. Fergus Jr. (Wilton) - 40 - Edward was working for Cantor Fitzgerald when the Towers came down. Edward was an avid fisherman and top notch skier. He's survived by his son and daughter and his wife, Linda.

Peter Christian Fry (Wilton) - 37 - Peter was a vice president of international money markets with Euro Brothers Inc. Peter left behind a wife and two daughters.

John Iskyan (Wilton) - 40 - John was a an analyst with Cantor Fitzgerald and an avid skier and hiker. He's survived by his wife and three kids

Edward Phillip York (Wilton) - 45 - Edward was the Vice President and Director of Human Resources at Cantor Fitzgerald. He was a friend to many, a down to earth guy, and a family man. He is missed by his wife and three children.
