We won’t get to see the episode until November, but a really cool Connecticut restaurant, which has become known for amazing cheeseburgers, will appear on the Travel Channel's "Burger Land".

A national audience will get the inside info about the Shady Glen restaurant that many in the Nutmeg State have had for years. In fact, Food Network Magazine has already discovered the hotspot in Manchester, calling their chocolate chip ice cream "Connecticut’s best frozen dessert". The Journal Inquirer states that:

They did an extensive shoot at the restaurant. He said Wednesday’s filming involved interviews at the restaurant, recounting its history, and the story of how its cheeseburger, where four pieces of cheese overlap the patty and are crisped on the grill, was discovered.

The eatery has earned four stars on TripAdvisor and rave reviews from customers and travelers. There seems to be a really good reason they’ve been in business for so long, as Shady Glen celebrated just celebrated 70 their 70th year in business last year.
