Stars Hollow, Connecticut is the fictional hometown of the main characters in Gilmore Girls, an American television show that ran for 7 TV seasons, and a 4 part Netflix epilogue.

According to Wikipedia, the show's creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, wrote the show after being inspired by a visit to The Mayflower Inn in Washington Depot, West Hartford, New Milford, and our area in general. I can tell you from driving through and walking around Washington Depot and Kent, that there is no legit Stars Hollow. A couple of local super fans put together physical fan festivals over the past couple of years, and had this year's event planned in for October 2020. Well, pandemic. So, this year, the promoters have a virtual event planned, and you can buy your tickets now for next year's planned physical festival.

The Gilmore Girls Fan Fest 2020 is happening on Saturday October 17, 2020, and the event promises to feature videos and live streams with over 30+ cast and crew members. You can also pre-purchase tickets for the 2021 event, which will take place October 22-24, 2021 in Kent, CT. There are also tickets being sold for a "Secret Event" next year, sort of a 'secret stash' for those who can't get enough of the show, that the organizers are teasing as a getaway at a Connecticut resort that "Lorelai would be proud of, with meals that Sookie would support".

The tickets are cheap for the 2020 virtual event, quite a bit more for next year's physical events though. You can get them by clicking HERE
