Jimmy Fallon Surprises Audience at The Cap in Portchester
You just never know who will show up at your concert in this area. We have some of the most famous people in the world living right here, and there are celebrity sightings daily. A very cool happening took place down at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester Sunday night.
Joe Russo is the drummer for Further, and he has his own band that he tours with called Joe Russo's Almost Dead. Their an American rock/jam band that plays mostly Grateful Dead covers. Which they did for all of their three night stand at the Cap. Sunday night however, for the encore, they brought out NBC Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon.
There's reasons why Jimmy Fallon makes millions of dollars a year, he's a true multi-talented entertainer. I was lucky enough to see him live a couple of times when he went out on his stand -up tours, and he's one of those select few that would leave blood on the stage in order to bring the house down.
Fallon jumped in with the band and takes the lead on covers of Neil Young's 'F___ing Up', The Beatles "Hey Jude" and Paul Simon's "You Can Call me Al." He really whips up the crowd, and the people that were in the Cap that night got an extra special treat from one of the most talented performers.
