What do they have in common????
First....some definitions of....ICON....

- An image; a representation.
- An important and enduring symbol.
- One who is the object of great attention and devotion; an idol .....I think that, like it or not, Marilyn Monroe and her image is one of the most iconic of the last 60 years or so!!! AND, like it or not, so is Playboy Magazine!!! But back in the day...Hef would NOT have agreed!!! 61 Years ago today...12-10-1953...The 1st issue of "Playboy" hit newsstands with Marilyn on the cover. Hugh Hefner thought it would be the ONE and ONLY issue of the magazine....so he didn't bother to even put a date on it!!
- 61 years later, like it or not, Playboy is Iconic.
