'Tis the season for vehicle break-ins. With all of the shopping being done for the holidays, it's extremely important to make sure there is nothing in your car that would lead someone to want to break in.

According to the Washington Depot Police Department, there have been a string of vehicle break-ins that took place on December 4 in Hidden Valley, Roxbury and Brookfield.

Currently, the police are reaching out for public assistance to help identify these two individuals who they think are in connection to the series of break-ins that took place. Do you know them? If so, we ask that you go to the police. All information will be kept confidential.

According to the post, the two females were seen to be driving what they believe is a white GMC Terrain with a tinted license place cover on the back of the vehicle. The photos below that were provided by the police department are from a bank in Canton. The two individuals were said to be attempting to cash stolen checks.

Bravo to the bank tellers who did not let them cash these checks. This time of year is always financially difficult to many people and it seems to also be a time of year where a lot of illegal activity happens.

My advice to you is to keep your cars empty, keep your valuables on you, and try your best to keep you and your family as safe as possible this holiday season.

If you know anything about these individuals, the phone number for the Washington Depot police department is 860-868-2100.
