Plus Roy White, Mickey Rivers, and musical legend Paul Shaffer?

You can do so at the 14th Annual Hillside Food Outreach Gala on Saturday November 7th at the Matrix Conference and Banquet Center in Danbury. Hillside Food Outreach is a food share program in our area that helps people that cannot provide for themselves. I've been a big supporter of what they do for our community for years. Some of my co-workers here at the radio station deliver food every weekend to some of these families, and the stories that they tell me are heartbreaking, and heart warming.

Bernie Williams also has been a big Hillside advocate, and this year's gala celebrates his support! In a year that saw Bernie's number retired into Monument Park, it's going to be an awesome night. I've been to Hillside's annual gala for the past 5 years. In those years, I've been able to see Paul Simon, Rick Derringer, and Bernie himself perform. I've sat next to Joe Torre, Mariano Rivera, Stephen Baker 'The Touchdown Maker', Cecil Fielder, Scott Kamieniceki, Ottis Anderson, Tim "Rock" Raines, Don Mattingly, and David Cone. You can feel the love and support that Hillside has from all of these legends at the galas.

There's a silent auction, featuring unique items like spending a day with Sweeny Murti in the broadcast booth! Watching a Jet's game from the owner's box, or dining at an upscale Manhattan restaurant on the cheap. Plus, there are hundreds of unique autographed photos and sports memorabilia to bid on. You're served an awesome dinner, and there's cash bars throughout the room.

Bernie Williams, Paul Shaffer, Roy White, Mickey Rivers, and others to still be announced? A night like this in Danbury doesn't come around too often. I urge you to support Hillside Food Outreach, and come to their annual Gala Saturday Night November 7th at the Matrix Conference and Banquet Center in Danbury.
