Have you seen the "Immersive Van Gogh" ads in your social media feed? My God, I have. Every few months over the past couple of years, there's a new ad announcing another Connecticut city that will host this "90,000,000 Pixels" immersive art experience. Well, the company behind the exhibit is making another attempt at staging it in a major Connecticut city, this time in Hartford.

Where, and when? That's a great question. As far as I can tell from reading through the comments on the event website, it will possibly be at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford sometime in August. I say possibly, because this event seems to only occur when enough people sign up to find out when and where the exhibit will take place. You may remember back in May 2021, "Immersive Van Gogh: Danbury" was announced, but, it never happened. I think I remember an "Immersive Van Gogh: New Haven" was also in the works at some point too.

It's definitely not a scam, in fact my friend Matt and his family attended the "Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit" in NYC last year and had a great time. Overall, the experience looks very cool from the photos that I've seen, I want to experience it. Massive projections of some of Van Gogh's most famous work, including Starry Night, Sunflowers, and The Bedroom, are shown on the walls, ceiling and floors of a big open space. The photos of the exhibit that I've found give you an idea of what you're going to see.

So, we'll see if the greater Hartford area can garner enough sign ups for the promoters to bring their projectors to the land of the Wadsworth, New Britain Museum of American Art, and Connecticut Science Center.

CT Waterfront Restaurants Perfect for 2022 Spring Dining

The Return of Connecticut's Best Seasonal Drive-In's

Daylight's Savings Time is nice, and warmer temps are great, but I think the best thing about Spring is the return of fresh fried clams, footlong hot dogs, juicy burgers, and outdoor dining at these seasonal Connecticut drive-in restaurants.

The Fried Calamari at These Connecticut Restaurants Never Disappoints

I love fried calamari, it's a simple dish, but it's very easy to overcook. I've never been disappinted by the fried calamari at these Connecticut restaurants.
