Guy Fieri Opens 5 Flavortown Kitchens Here in Connecticut
You have to respect Guy Fieri, the celebrity chef and mega-personality has become one of the leading voices and activists rallying our country up in support of the incredibly hurting restaurant industry.
Fieri has raised millions of dollars in grants and donations from major corporations throughout the pandemic, and has given that money back to the restaurant community across our nation. Now, he's come up with a concept that will expand his food offerings into 23 states, including 5 new locations announced here in Connecticut.
Guy Fieri's Flavortown Kitchen is a "ghost kitchen" which is a delivery/take-out only concept that will offer a limited menu of Guy's specialties. Most of the hundreds of these new restaurants in the 23 states across the US are going to be operating out of existing or empty restaurants and industrial kitchens.

Most of the Connecticut locations are going to be run out of Bertucci's. I took a look at the menu offerings, and there are some interesting choices: Buffalo Wings, Jalapeno Poppers, Queso and Chips, Burgers, Chicken, Salads, Desserts, and a few beverages.
Here Are The 5 Connecticut Locations Of Guy Fieri's Flavortown Kitchen
I know people crap on Fieri and his food, I was the same way, rolling my eyes at the stupid backwards sunglasses and the loud fire shirts. I saw a video of comedian Shane Torres on Conan that got my attention with some real truths. Check it out:
After watching that and seeing all that he has done for the struggling industry that both he and I love, and opening up 5 new places here in Connecticut? Thank you Guy Fieri, for everything that you're doing.
