"I Think We're Alone Now" was originally written and released by Tommy James & The Shondells in 1967 and it was a hit cover for pop star Tiffany in the 80's. It was due for the right person to come along, cover it and shine a light on it. That person is Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong whose apparently spending his isolation time being creative and we are all better for it.

That's bare bones fun right there. A great song doesn't need a lot of bells and whistles and "I Think We're Alone Now" is the perfect example at the right moment in time. I like this better than the original and the Tiffany cover and I don't care what you think of me for saying that.

Unless Tiffany is reading this, in that case, Tif, I loved your version best. I love you Tiffany, I have for many years, call me, I follow you on Insta, I'm the good looking one.
