I love surfing Zillow.com and looking for extremes - the cheapest, the most expensive, the best location, etc. Well, I found a beauty, and yes, I'm being sarcastic. Have you dreamed of an $84 dollar a month mortgage payment? An annual real estate tax bill of $120? You could own this one right now.

I grew up in a 2,500 square foot house, and now live in a 1,000 square foot condo. The thought of living in 725 square feet doesn't scare me as much now as it used to, but if you're braver than me, here's a mobile home that's sitting on a corner lot in Plainfield, Connecticut. It's listed on Zillow.com by Randall Realtors, and it's been on there for 141 days. Unheard of in our state, right?

Even This Beauty Costs $15,000 in Connecticut

Not everyone has $250,000 for a home, some not even $500. It's not cheap to live anywhere, but especially here in Connecticut. I just found this listing for the cheapest home on the market in all of our state, and I'm amazed that even this is going for $15,000 in 2024
