Police: Two Connecticut Men Arrested After Sword Vs. Leaf Blower Battle
According to the Patch, two Connecticut men are facing charges after an altercation involving a sword and a leaf blower.
Police say that 50-year-old John Casiello and 54-year-old Ty Kohler, both of Enfield, were arrested and face a variety of charges after their face-off became physical on Sunday afternoon. It was reported that the two men were arguing over the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Casiello told authorities that Kohler punched him in the eye. This is when Casiello allegedly got a sword from the garage and went back after Kohler. Kohler then, according to the report, hit Casiello with a leaf blower. From there, Casiello is said to have swung the sword, sticking Kohler in the arm.
Both were arrested, both face charges, now let's break down the action:
You have two guys fighting over NFL teams — hilarious. These two teams, mind you, did not even play each other this past Sunday — double hilarious.
Then, you have the weapons; sword vs. leaf blower.
Any good swordsmen worth their salt does not lose to a leaf blower or even end up in a tie. It sounds like we had a tie, so in my opinion, the tie breaker goes to the man holding the leaf blower.
I can and will give credit where credit is due, though. Anyone who knows anything about a good ol' fashioned street fight, knows you have to adapt to your surroundings and the weapons available to you at the time. These guys did just that. They grabbed what was closest and engaged in battle — CLASSIC.
This is why I carry a hand grenade wherever I go. You are going to be hard-pressed to find a guy with a hand grenade losing any beef on the streets.
