Elvis Costello Cancels Tonight’s Connecticut Show Due to Infection
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news for Elvis Costello fans. The iconic rocker has cancelled his performance tonight (November 9) at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre due to illness.
According to a press release from Live Nation,
Elvis Costello regrets to announce that this evening's performance at the Toyota Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, CT must be cancelled. Due to a short-term throat infection doctor's have ordered complete vocal rest in anticipation of a quick recovery. Please return to your point-of-purchase for refund or rescheduling information.
So, it looks like the show, which was in support of his new album, "Look Now," may still be rescheduled once Costello is feeling better. Elvis has shows scheduled throughout the U.S. and Canada into December. We will keep you posted on a new date if one becomes available.
