If your idea of a good lunch break involves food trucks, live music, and eating outdoors, you're in luck as the Downtown Chow-Down will be returning to Danbury for the Summer.

The Chow-Down happens every Thursday from May 30 to August 29 at Kennedy Park on Kennedy Avenue, right off Main Street. The event goes from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM Thursdays with the exception of the 4th of July.

Every week will feature live music, and a rotating schedule of food trucks including Dogtown, DrewbaQ, Fork in the Road, the Green Grunion, Liberty Rock, M-O-C (Moo, Oink, Cluck,) Pink Elephant, and Rice and Beans.

The Chow-Down is presented by CityCenter Danbury and the City of Danbury, and it's a great way to get out of the office and check out some new food trucks. I'll see you there most Thursdays. Big Rice & Beans fan here.
