Spencer Boyd will be driving the No. 20 car at NASCAR truck series in at Daytona in February, and he'll be doing so while representing Danbury's American Pavement Specialists.

The business was founded in 1992 by Bill and Colleen Stanley Jr., and their home base is 79 Crosby Street in Danbury, CT.

We spoke to Spencer Boyd of the Camping World Truck Series on the Ethan and Lou Show to find out more about his relationship with the local company and even learned what drivers tick him off the most on the track.

Based off what Spencer said, you need to start driving at 5 years old to break into NASCAR. That's a tough nut to crack right there. At 5, I was not ready for NASCAR or a regular car or to put on my own pants.

What I know about NASCAR is very limited (more than Ethan) but I do know my gut and my gut is telling me two things; stop eating cheese and Spencer Boyd will win the truck race at Daytona this weekend.

As sure as I'm sitting here, this will happen. It would be a great way to kick off 2021 for a great team and a great Danbury company.

P.S. I've really got to get Ethan to stop asking any kind of sports question. You can't ask the difference between the cars and trucks in NASCAR, you just cannot.
