Waterbury Man Killed in Danbury, Police Seek Information
Danbury Police are seeking the public's help as they try to identify who is responsible for the reported homicide of a Waterbury resident.
On Sunday night (July 12) the Danbury Police Department received reports at around 10:35 PM that an adult male had been shot in the area of Beaver Street and Elm Street in the city.
When they arrived on scene, officers say they found 39-year-old Waterbury man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man was immediately transported to Danbury Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
As of this writing, police say the identity of the victim is known, but it is not being released to the public until the man's family members have been informed.

This story comes just hours after the Danbury Police Department released some updated information regarding a recent arrest in the case of an unrelated homicide.
