Danbury Police Seek Info Following Serious Crash on Lake Avenue Extension

Local police are looking to the public for information following a crash that left the operator of the vehicle seriously injured.

According to the Danbury Police Department, emergency personnel responded to the report of a motor vehicle crash, which involved a serious injury, in the area of 21 Lake Avenue Extension -- Ethan Allen's address -- at around 7:09 AM on Wednesday morning (November 25).

Police say that a 2011 BMW 335i lost control and left the roadway, striking two Lake Avenue Extension telephone poles before coming to a rest.

The unidentified driver of the Beamer reportedly suffered serious injuries and was transported to Danbury Hospital's Emergency Room for treatment. As of this writing, there has been no update as to the operator's medical condition.
