Danbury Man to the Rescue Becomes Everyday Hero During Fire
I think it's safe to say we all have the notion of being a hero inside of us. But in the moment of need, are we strong enough to act on it? One Danbury man certainly did. Here's the story.
Fire is one of my biggest fears, and I know I'm not alone in that. With out a doubt if I saw a fire I would call it in, but could I run into the fire to help someone is a huge question mark in my mind.
Out of a garage fire in Danbury the other day, a brave local man showed that indeed he could do just that. Here's the account from the Facebook page for the Danbury Fire Department about local resident Anthony Petrella's selfless act.
Quick thinking by Mr. Petrella proved him to be the neighbor we all wish we could have, and the hero many of us would hope to be able to be. Thankfully the residents of the home, their pets and Mr.Petrella were all okay.
