Danbury Fire Department Helps Out Former Firefighter With Music
Retired Danbury firefighter Michael Esposito and his family recently lost everything in a house fire. His brothers in the Danbury Fire Department vowed to help, and Sunday April 29, they're throwing a giant benefit with proceeds going to the family.
The Danbury Fire Department's 4th annual fundraiser happens on the 29th from 3-9:30 PM at Molly Darcy's on Mill Plain Road in Danbury. There will be a $20 admission which includes one free drink ticket. They'll be doing T-shirts and raffles as well, all to help the Espositos.
There's a great lineup of entertainment throughout the day. First up, it's the Drive-By Licks.
There will be a special appearance by the Westchester Pipes & Drums, followed by Danbury's original Southern rockers, Whitewood.
The night closes out with Classic Rock from Crush.
Molly Darcy's is at 39A Mill Plain Road in Danbury. We hope the fire department has a great turnout so that they can help out a fellow firefighter who lost so much.
