Connecticut State Police Capture Accused New Hampshire Kidnapper
Above is the mugshot of a man named Cameron J. Snody, 18, of Fort Worth, Texas. He's in a lot of trouble as he was arrested by the Connecticut State Police this morning and is facing serious felony charges after an incident that started in New Hampshire.
According the Connecticut State Police - Troop H in Hartford, early this morning, Friday, March 19, Troop H received an Amber Alert informing them that two juvenile girls, 12 and 17 years old, had disappeared with Snody after he had traveled up from Texas to New Hampshire to meet them.

Snody is accused of stealing a 2006 Saturn Ion in New Hampshire in order to flee with the two juveniles. Based on intel, Connecticut State Troopers set up along I-91 in order to stop the vehicle. The stolen Saturn was spotted on I-91 Northbound at Exit 23 in Rocky Hill at 10:14 this morning. Troopers were able to stop the vehicle and Snody was taken into custody. The two juvenile females were transported to an area hospital for evaluation.
Snody faces an abundance of charges including two felonies in Connecticut:
- Fugitive from Justice
- Larceny, 3rd Degree
New Hampshire authorities have also started the extradition process for Snody to be brought back to New Hampshire to face the Kidnapping charges. He is currently being held on a $500,000 bond while he awaits a court appearance here in Connecticut to face the state's charges.
