The expansion for the pizza giant started back in the fall when Sally's opened up its very first location outside of their original store in New Haven. The new location in Stamford has been opened since October, and now it's time to add a third location.

According to ctinsider.com, the Fairfield Planning Commission had received a permit for renovation work to be done in a former restaurant at 665 Commerce Drive, which is a luxury apartment complex with retail space on the ground floor. Plus, a spokesperson for Sally's did announce back in October, when the Stamford location opened, that they would be adding locations in Fairfield, Norwalk, and even Wethersfield.

Founded by Salvatore "Sally" Consiglio in 1938, Sally's has been a staple for pizza lovers in New Haven and is famous for its signature tomato sauce and chewy, crispy, charred crust, and now with locations popping up all over Fairfield County, Sally's Apizza lovers won't have to travel that far to enjoy what "Barstool Sports" Dave Portnoy calls "the best pizza in the entire country."

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
