Connecticut Police Appeal for Information in Facebook Marketplace Laptop Robbery
Connecticut State Police are seeking the public's help in identifying this suspect, who they say stole a laptop from it's owner in Litchfield.
Police posted the following on Saturday (1/6/24) to the Troop L Litchfield Facebook page.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact Trooper Houle of Troop L at (860)-626-7900. Any and all calls will be kept confidential.
I love that camera technology gets better by the day, not just so we can I.D. "alleged" crooks but so we can get a clear look at their faces at the exact moment they believed they would get away with it.
Facebook Marketplace is just not worth it to me. Why do we want one another's garbage? Can we throw it out, or donate it instead? I'm all for being thrifty but making a few bucks is not worth potentially getting robbed. I think Nate Bargatze said it best...
Best case scenario: "we make $5." The worst case scenario....
