Connecticut Ranks 7th In U.S. For Research And Innovation
We live alongside some of the most talented and brilliant in the US in New England and the Tri-State area, and new study has just come out that has ranked Connecticut as the 7th best state in the US for 2025 for research and development.

Make it Here is the official tourism campaign of our state, it's an effort to show the world that we have incredibly talented people that have made the brave decision to live right here, not Boston or New York City. We have Yale, Wesleyan, and UConn educating some of the brightest minds in the world, and we need to keep them here. Connecticut's tourism campaign seems to be working.
According to smilehub.org's Best States for Research and Development (2025) Connecticut and its immediate neighboring states rank among the best. in order to determine their rankings SmileHub compared all 50 states across three key dimensions: Research Workforce & Innovation, Research Funding & Support, and Research Education.
