It must have been a terrifying morning for employees at a local fast food restaurant -- I'm sure they never expected to wake up to a robbery.

We received a request for the public's assistance from the Norwalk Police Department regarding a report of an armed robbery that occurred at around 7AM this morning, Friday February 14. Norwalk PD Officers were called to the Chick-Fil-A at 467 Connecticut Avenue, and confirmed that a robbery had indeed taken place.

Luckily, no injuries were reported in this incident. The Norwalk Detective Bureau has taken the lead in this investigation, and they're calling on anyone with information, or anyone that may have been in the general area that noticed suspicious activity, to contact them at 203-854-3011.

This is in a very heavily congested area of Route 1, right where Kohl's, PC Richard & Son, Dick's, Stop & Shop and Shop Rite are located. I'm assuming it was very easy for the alleged robbery suspect/s to blend in with the Friday morning crowd.
