Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show to Benefit the Danbury War Memorial
A car show of monumental proportions is happening on Sunday, April 28 at Roger's Park in Danbury.
Just got the word from hemmings.com. about the Inaugural War Memorial Danbury Car, Truck, and Motorcycle Show that will take over Roger's Park on Sunday, April 28 from 10 am until 4 pm with all proceeds going to benefit the Danbury War Memorial.
This, my friends, is the mack-daddy of all car shows featuring a food truck corral featuring all the mobile cuisine in the area, 3 live DJ's, a color guard to lead the opening ceremonies, raffles, vendors, and trophies for all class winners and best of all, attendance is absolutely free!
According to the NewsTimes, all park activities will be canceled on the 28th to make room for the unprecedented amount of vehicles expected for this event. The color guard will ceremoniously kick off the event at 10 am and the show gets underway at 12 noon.
There will 27 judging categories plus car show organizers are allowing any year, any make or model car. Five judges from the greater Danbury area who know their cars will be evaluating and looking for best car, best interior, best engine, and best built. If you're bringing a car to show, the registration fee is $20 with all proceeds going to the Danbury War Memorial. The rain date is Sunday, May 5.
