November is here, and that means that i95 will be holding our annual Camping For Cans food drive from Friday, November 22 through Sunday, November 24.

This year, we'll be set up at BJ's Wholesale Club on Federal Road in Brookfield from the start of the Ethan and Lou show on Friday the 22nd right through 4 PM Sunday the 24th, collecting non-perishable food donations for the Hillside Food Outreach.

Hillside Food Outreach does great work in Connecticut and New York state. According to their website,

Hillside Food Outreach is working to end hunger among our most vulnerable neighbors in Westchester, Putnam and Fairfield Counties.  Hillside Volunteers home deliver healthy and nutritious foods to over 2,000 men, woman and children, low income people who, for a variety of reasons, are unable to access local pantries.
We serve the elderly who must choose between medicine and food…families who are struggling to make ends meet and also feed their children and those with health issues who need better nutrition and healthier food.

You can help out by stopping by anytime, day or night, while we're there over the weekend. We take non-perishable food items (no turkeys please,) as well as cash or checks made out to Hillside Food Outreach.

Thanks to our friends at Dave's RV for providing us the cushy digs for the weekend, and and to all of our awesome i95 listeners who make donating to our cause a pre-Thanksgiving tradition. We are blown away every year by our listeners' generosity and we're hoping for another great year helping the hungry.
