Brookfield Police Seek Witnesses of Fatal Accident on Candlewood Lake Rd.
Candlewood Lake Rd. in Brookfield was closed for a period of time Saturday night (July 15) after a tragic accident that happened at around 10:20 PM.
According to a press release from the Brookfield Police Department, officers are still investigating the accident, which involved three vehicles -- two cars and one motorcycle.
Very unfortunately, the report says that the operator of the motorcycle passed away at Danbury Hospital as a result of the crash. As of right now, his identity is being withheld from the public until the family can be notified. One of the people who were in one of the cars was also taken to Danbury Hospital for the treatment of injuries that are non-life threatening.
The scene of the accident has been cleared and Candlewood Lake Rd. is open.
