A missing 17-year-old boy's body was found this past Sunday, May 3rd, and police are investigating this death as a homicide.

According to a NBC CT article, people that were kayaking found the body of Nolvin Diaz, who had been reported missing since April 25, partially submerged in Community Lake behind the senior center in Wallingford.

State Police were called to assist with the crime scene and have divers in the lake looking for additional information.

Police say there was evidence that he was submerged, and the office of the chief medical examiner will determine a cause of death.

Police ask that anyone who had contact with him prior to call Wallingford Police at 203-294-2800.
