AWS of New Milford’s Monthly Pet Thrift Shop Returns For 2022
After we lost our Chihuahua Peanut back in early 2020, Mrs. Large donated all of his belongings. His carrier, car seat, and harnesses were pretty expensive, but we decided to make someone's life a little easier.
Flash forward to 6 months later, and our new little bundle of joy, 13 week old Chihuahua RayRay came into our lives. Damn, now we had to spend serious money on what we had given away a few months earlier. Well, don't be like me, there's an opportunity for you to pimp your pet out on the cheap all Summer long, and all you have to do is take a ride to Dodd Road in New Milford on an upcoming Saturday morning.
Starting up tomorrow, Saturday May 14, 2022, and on the second Saturday of each month through October 2022, the Animal Welfare Society located at 8 Dodd Road in New Milford, will hold a pet thrift shop from 10AM to 1PM.
What can you expect? Bargains, my fellow pet-owner friend. Gently-used pet supplies like soft-sided carriers, collars, leashes, pet steps, many sizes of beds, grooming tools, harnesses, clothing, cat toys, scratchers, litter boxes, and bowls and dishes.
We had to drop something along the lines of $300 to get most of those exact items for RayRay, and with the way that I'm collecting bottle deposits to fill my gas tank lately, don't be like me, try to save yourself a few bucks. In this case, even better, all the proceeds from the AWS-New Milford pet thrift shops go right back to help their rescued pets. Oh, and the events are pet-friendly, of course. Bring them.
