You have to really tip your hat to the food truck industry, they keep coming up with great ideas. The latest great idea that I am impressed with is a score for everyone that lives in the beautiful Crown Point complex on Saw Mill Road in Danbury.

On Tuesday, November 1, 2022, the Cousins Maine Lobster food truck is going to set up shop at Crown Point, which is located at 50 Saw Mill Road in Danbury, from noon until 8 PM.

What a great idea. Do you know how many times I've seen that meme that says "Hey food truck owners! Why don't you start driving around neighborhoods like the ice cream man?" and said yessssssssssss?

Obviously you need a friendly property manager who will allow solicitation on their properties, but oh man, can we get more of these things happening in Connecticut? Can you imagine if we allowed food trucks to roll around neighborhoods?

Well Crown Point Danbury, you win on November 1. But there are also upcoming Cousins Maine Lobster appearances at other residential complexes around Connecticut and Massachusetts, including Middletown, Springfield, Stamford, and West Hartford. Keep an eye on their website for upcoming events.

What can you expect on the menu? Two types of lobster rolls, which are the Connecticut: Warm, with butter and lemon, or the Maine: Chilled, with mayo. Either one is $23. They also have lobster bisque and clam chowder, lobster grilled cheese, tots, quesadillas and tacos, and a couple of shrimp items. I'll take two Connecticut lobster rolls, please.

I Never Had a Bad Fish Fry at These Restaurants In Connecticut

I'm a sucker for fish and chips, if it's on someone's menu, I order it. it's been one of my favorites since the glory days of Arthur Treacher's. Around Connecticut, some are bad or inconsistent, but these three restaurants are superior.
