Hello fellow New York Jets fans, are you excited to watch Aaron and the boys whip up on the Minnesota Vikings from jolly old England this Sunday morning? Are you running into dead ends as to where we can watch the game outside of our homes? Is anyone in Connecticut planning on opening up early for us hungry New York Jets fans?

Can you see the disappointment in Coach Saleh's face in the photo above? That's what you'll see on a New York Jets football fan that would love to enjoy Sunday brunch watching their favorite team. The NFL has staged international games over the past several years in an attempt to expand their global reach. This Sunday, October 6, 2024, the Jets will play the Vikes in a game that will take place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England. Because of the time difference, it will start at 9:30AM here.

Connecticut is not a 24 hour a day state, and Sunday mornings are sacred, or so it seems. I cannot find one sports bar, one Sunday brunch hot spot, or even a neighborhood dive bar that will open up early for this special game. As a New York Jets fan living in the great divide of NY Giants and New England Patriots fans that Connecticut truly is, I'm used to being ignored.

Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods, you say? Bobby V's in Stamford and Windsor Locks? Nope. Leo's, Market Place, and Maggie McFly's? Sorry. Most places that I've called are not opening until 11AM, as usual. Someone out there will see this plea, a master of French toast and chicken wings exists in Connecticut, and the Jets fans of Connecticut need you.
