Before Adam hits the stage, we had the opportunity to catch up with him about the upcoming show and his incredible career. Here’s our favorite moment from the conversation.

Lou: You've been part of a lot of successful projects like Rescue Me, Nurse Jackie and Top Gear but there is a flipside to that. You played Stan on the 1999 reboot of The Love Boat called The Next Wave.

Adam: "Yes, I did, baby! OK, I've got two stories. They offered me the part, and my agent at the time said, 'I don’t think we should take this role.' I said, 'Listen, I need my insurance.' I agreed with your assessment, but I don't need fame—I need a root canal, and this will pay for it, so I’m taking the gig.

So, that show was with Robert Urich. I was a kid, right? My Aunt Mona was the hairdresser on Spencer for Hire. Yeah, it was a hundred years ago. So, I get the gig, and I’m standing there, I've got one scene at the end where I’m standing next to Robert Urich. I waited for my opportunity. You know, you don’t want to be a fanboy.

'Mr. Urich, it’s a pleasure to be here. My Aunt Mona was your hairdresser on Spencer for Hire.'

He says, 'Ah, that’s wonderful. She’s a wonderful person. She’s a little eccentric.'

I’m like, 'Well, you're being a gentleman, sir. We think she's bat-shit crazy!'"

You can listen to our complete interview with Adam Ferrara below.

Part 1 - Adam told us a story about his friend and fellow comedian Lenny Clarke being questioned for murder.

Part 2 - Adam talks about the meditation jargon he shares with Sopranos actor Michael Imperioli.

Ridgefield Playhouse Exec Shares Revealing Tales About Richards and More

The Ridgefield Playhouse and I-95 have had a longstanding and fruitful business relationship. The Playhouse, it's leadership and staff have always been welcoming to us and we like to think we've been good to them as well.

I've been doing the I-95 Morning Show for 15 years and in that time I've had so many wonderful memories in that building. We performed our Ethan and Lou 10 year Anniversary concert there, I've met countless celebrities at the Playhouse and have attended many of their shows.

Many of the top flight guests we've booked on the I-95 Morning Show have been courtesy of our association with the Playhouse. But it wasn't just the rock stars that got invited to our studio, the people behind the curtain have always been regular guests on our shows.

Jared Shahid is the new Managing Director at the Ridgefield Playhouse but not a new face to us. Ethan and I have hung with him backstage, we've had him in the studio and he and I even worked on a TV project together.

Jared is one of the best storytellers I know so we were delighted to invite him back on the show. Recently, Shahid joined us on the the I-95 Morning Show with Ethan, Lou & Dave. Whenever he comes in, he brings tickets and stories for our audience. These are some of the amazing behind the scenes tales he shared with us on Thursday (5/25/23).

8 Main Street Danbury Facts So Unbelievable, They Have to be True

Danbury: "The Hat City"

At one time. Danbury was known as the hat making center of the universe. The hat making industry is what this town was built on but frankly, I'm tired of talking about hats. We are so much more than that. Danbury has a lot of intriguing true stories and many of them originated in the same place, Main Street. Main Street Danbury holds truths so unbelievable, you kind of have to. How can one 2-mile stretch of road, hold so many stories? I just does.
