Did you see a twenty-eight foot potato on 84 or Rt.8 last night? It was on its way to Torrington. I stopped by and saw the 28-foot Big Idaho Potato up close today, and bought a few of the delicious offerings.

Bringing the tater to Torrington has become an annual event for a hard-working organization in my hometown Main Street Torrington. I missed their Strawberry Festival a coupe of weeks ago, I wasn't going to miss this one. In case you did, I took a few pics.

It was a nice event, very family and dog friendly. There were a few reps from Main Street Torrington playing some music, some very friendly Idaho Potato workers, and about 30-40 hungry spud lovers like me.
