Danbury Dance Party Video Indicates Big Hats are Big Fashion Right Now

Most days, I'm navigating through pointless videos and Youtube slideshows of cars for sale. But I hit the lifestyle jackpot on Wednesday (6/7/23) when I found a Danbury Youtube video from Doris Marisela.

It looks like she attended a local concert and I noticed a trend, big hats are in right now. Big hats on dudes, big hats on ladies, everyone is wearing them and smiling. The bigger the hat, the closer to God I guess.

Look, this lady has one and she's the center of attention.

And this dude is as happy as a clam.

The common denominator? Enormous hats, hats you could see from space. It looked like a bangin' party too. According to the video it took place at La Canchita last week and it was published to Youtube on may 31, 2023.

This is not the first time I recognized over sized lids making people look fancy. Fancy hats are dominating the red carpet in all shapes and types. You have:

The message is simple, hats are in style in Danbury and beyond but don't take my word for it, I've been wearing the same uniform for 30 years, blue jeans and black t-shirts. It's not going to win me any awards but that is OK with me.

P.S. I don't speak Spanish so forgive me if I buried the lead.The guy on stage looks like he could be an international superstar. A mega pop star is certainly bigger news than me noticing people are wearing hats.
