7 Worst Prisons in the State of Connecticut
I keep saying that I need to stop watching "60 Days In."
I'm watching this damn show and it's making me behave like an inmate. I can't be pressing up on people in the real world like this. I'm hovering over my food making sure no one can grab it, sleeping with a shank and stocking up on microwavable soups. I need to quit this show.
In the meantime, I'm wasting a lot of my free time doing research to find out what the prisons are like here in Connecticut.

If there is a silver lining, it's this Connecticut has only 18 correctional facilities according to the Connecticut State DOC. They add: "five of which are currently closed due to a 20-plus-year low in the offender population."
18 - 5= 13
So These are the seven of the worst prisons out of only thirteen, not eighty or ninety. I guess it's all in how you look at it, which is easy for me to say because I'm not scheduled to live at any of these facilities....yet.

P.S. I'm really dying to get a guest on the Ethan, Lou & Large Dave Show that has firsthand knowledge of what these institutions are like. We've had some folks on the show from Danbury's FCI but they work there, how honest can they be? I have some grimey questions that need answering and I don't want the politically correct, generic answers.
