That is what we always hear, and it must have been the mentality of a 53 year-old Boston woman who decided to finally get her driver's license recently.

According to WCVB via the Melrose Police Department, police say the woman recently smashed through 8 headstones at a Massachusetts cemetery while practicing for her driver's license.

She recently got her learner's permit, so on Saturday she went to practice for the big test. The idea with the cemetery was, at least she can't kill anyone. A relative went along for the ride while offering up their Range Rover to practice in. She lost control, according to the report, and took out 8 headstones while destroying the front-end of the car.

Nobody in the family has a Mercury Marquis she could practice in? Bad, old cars (like mine) are tailor made for these big days. Range Rovers and headstones are not cheap. That is why we have the Mercury model, to smash into things.

When I read the first few words, I was convinced this story was coming out of Danbury. Allow me to be critical of my own environment when I say the Hat City has the worst drivers I've ever seen.

I love this city like it's one of my children, but I'm convinced that they handout Driver's licenses in Cracker Jack boxes here. In all my years, I've never seen more aggressive and negligent driving than what I've encountered since moving to Downtown Danbury. Good luck out there, it's a scene man.

P.S. The driver and the passenger of the wreck were OK.

Take a Look at Danbury's Behemoth Exit 5 On-Ramp Potholes

Awhile back, I promised the people of the great City of Danbury that I would create a pothole map and this is just one chapter, in the book of potholes.

When I began my pothole journey, I debuted with the potholes of West Street and they are some of the worst I’ve ever seen. I focused mainly on the area of West Street near the Citgo gas station. To the city's credit, they've already begin working on those, eliminating some of the biggest issues there.

Then I put a call out to the Ethan & Lou Radio Show listeners and asked for some tips. I was told to look at Shelter Rock Road so I did a report on those huge Earth holes.

I also examined the potholes on the South end of Main Street, and now we go to a very specific region, the North end of Main Street. I wanted to focus on the I-84 Exit 5 on-ramp. I enter the highway here everyday, on-my-way to work, and it's an atrocious mess.

This home is not a home it’s not an address, it’s 3 full addresses in a gated community, that sits inside a gated community. It’s a playground, a trophy and a showpiece for anyone who can afford the price tag. Here’s how I will do this; the top line will be what I’d say to you, if I was the realtor, and the bottom line will be wiseass commentary for my own sick amusement.
