Every Wednesday morning, we feature an adoptable Dog or Cat from the Animal Welfare Society in New Milford. Since we only do our "Pet of the Week" segment once a week, there are many dogs that haven't been able to visit us here in the studio.

Here are Five Dogs that would love to find their new forever homes, and they are all available now at the Animal Welfare Society on Dodd Road in New Milford.

    Mac

Mac is a fun guy who gets along with most dogs. He's a well mannered 30lb Beagle who would enjoy a home where he can go on daily walks and at night have a little cuddle time. Mac knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. Got a forever home for Mac?

    Rosey

Rosey is a Southern Hound, slightly on the older side, about 7 years. She has a very sweet nature. Like most hounds she enjoys being out following her nose, loves the sound of her own voice and will happily eat her way through the day. She may never have lived in a house before and is looking forward to finding out what a home and family of her own is all about. Got a forever home for Rosey?

    Sheryl

Sheryl is a German Shepherd mix and is a sweet and polite girl. She has an old, self-healed, injury to her hips which doesn't appear to bother her, although it does mean limited exercise. She is positive for heart worm and has to remain at the Shelter until her treatment has been completed. She would love to have visitors though and maybe even a home waiting to welcome her when she has a clean bill of health. Got a forever home for Sheryl?

    Shaman

Shaman is a beautiful white German Shepherd who was abandoned with his "brother" Dozer. He is about 3 years old and is the more outgoing of the two. Despite not having had the best start in life he is a really nice boy who is eager to please and should not have any trouble in learning basic obedience. He is looking for his second chance home where he can reach his full potential and have a happy and meaningful life. Got a forever home for Shaman?
