News is just breaking all around about the major movie theater chains reopening here in Connecticut. With the beating that the industry has taken over the past 6 months, there really aren't many major Hollywood releases ready to roll. So, what you've been seeing in some of the local, independent theaters that have already reopened, like New Milford's Bank Street Theater, is classic films being shown on the big screen. AMC is the world's largest theater chain, and they own the AMC Danbury 16 on Eagle Road, the AMC Southington 12 on the Meriden-Waterbury Tpke, and also the AMC Plainville 20 on New Britain Ave.
