If you Google "Seafood" and "Connecticut" together, chances are that you'll come across something that I've written, I'm a big fan. One of my favorite Connecticut seafood restaurants, Westbrook Lobster, just announced a local business partnership that caught my attention.

Westbrook Lobster took to their official Facebook page to announce a collaboration with Kent Falls Brewing and today's official release of Westbrook Lobster's first ever exclusive house draft - Living Like Larry Pilsner. Described as a blend of 100% Locally-Grown and Malted Grains, with a blend of German and Czech Hops. Living Like Larry Pilsner will be available at both Westbrook Lobster locations, in Clinton and Wallingford. Pictured in the photo above enjoying one of the new brews are Westbrook Lobster owners Matthew, Michael, and the brew's namesake, their father, Larry.

I received an e-mail from Westbrook Lobster detailing the long history between Kent Falls Brewing and the restaurants. Westbrook Lobster was one of the first 4 restaurants to pour their beer, and they have had a dedicated tap line for them for over 5 years. Kent Falls brewing is located on the beautiful 50 acre Camps Road Farm on Camps Road in Kent. Taking a spin through their many, many beers, I love some of the inventive names that they've given to their selections. Take a look at their promotional video of the brewery, it's beautiful.

And as far as Westbrook Lobster's typical offerings? Clams, lobster, shrimp, mussels, calamari, salmon, haddock, flounder, burgers, chicken, and now, a beer named after their dad. Living Like Larry Pilsner is described as light, crisp, and citrus, designed to pair perfectly with their lobster rolls. I have to try one myself. Congratulations Westbrook Lobster and Kent Falls Brewing.
