Police: Waterbury Woman Arrested on I-84 With Stolen Gun After Road Rage Incident
A Waterbury resident faces a long list of charges after allegedly pointing a stolen firearm at another motorist along I-84 East in Middlebury.
According to Trooper Tate of the CT State Police Troop A, just after 8:00 PM last night (June 11), 20-year-old Francheska Texidor of Waterbury was arrested after reportedly pointing a handgun at another motorist while crawling through the heavy Sunday evening traffic at Exit 17 in Middlebury on I-84 East.
Texidor obviously didn't read the Third Commandment of The Ten Commandments of Waterbury. If she had obeyed, I wouldn't be reporting her arrest.
Texidor faces nine charges due to the incident. She has been charged with: Operating an Unregistered Vehicle, Operation of a Motor Vehicle Without a License, Weapons in a Vehicle, Possession of a Large Capacity Magazine, Breach of Peace/Threatening, Stealing a Firearm, Criminal Use of a Firearm, 1st Degree Threatening, and 1st Degree Reckless Endangerment.
That's a bad night right there.
Texidor was taken into custody, and released on a $2,000 Cash/Surety bond. Texidor is scheduled to appear on 6/29/2017 at the Waterbury Superior Courthouse.
