But anyway, I'm always looking for cheap(er) gasoline lately, how about you? Well, I did a little legwork, and through gasbuddy.com, I put together the 9 cheapest places for 87 octane gasoline in the State of Connecticut, as of right now, June 7, 2022.

The good news is that you can still buy gasoline, for the most part, under $5 a gallon at most places. If you're one of the lucky ones that belong to a store's loyalty program, or a SmartPay member, you can get close to $4.50. But if you just enjoy the hunt, I'd suggest you start heading for Waterbury right now, the two cheapest places in the state are both there. I was surprised at lower Fairfield County too, I'd figure that they would be over $5 at least, but they did well too. Here's the cheapest in CT as of right now.
