I apologize in advance for this Carole King. 'If you're out on the road, feelin' lonely, and so cold, all you have to do is call my name, and travel to Guiford, Connecticut this Fall'.

Every time that I think about Gilmore girls, I think of Sean Gunn, and Carole King's 'Where You Lead' starts playing in my head. Are you like me? Well you are a Gilmore Girls super fan, and for the first time in a few years, an unofficial Gilmore Girls fan festival is in the works right here, where our favorite show is based.

If you're from Washington Depot and New Milford, you're probably familiar with the Gilmore Girls Fan Festival, it took place in Washington Depot in September 2019, and from most of the reviews posted at the time, didn't live up to expectations. Washington Depot is a very small town, and the crush of coffee-slugging, fast-talking fans turned the tide of Gilmore-nostalgia to Gilmore-Leave my town now.

Well, good news Gilmore fans, the event is coming back. in a new location. Thefanfestsociety.com has just announced that The Firelight Event will be happening October 18-20, 2024 in Guilford, Connecticut. Where? That hasn't been announced yet, but the tickets go on sale Wednesday, January 24. There are no ticket prices posted yet, but a few of the special cast member appearances have been announced: Devon Sorvari (Honor Huntzberger), Valerie Campbell (Costume Supervisor for the show), Kathleen Wilhoit (Liz Danes, Aris Alvarado (Caesar), Stan Zimmerman (Writer), Vanessa Marano (April Nardini), Scott Cohen (Max Medina), and Emily Kuroda (Mrs. Kim) are all slated to appear, so far.

Lauren, Scott, Milo, Alexis, Kelly Bishop? I'll bet that depends on how many tickets they sell.

We Were Entertained By Walton Goggins Saturday Night in Millerton

Walton Goggins is one of my favorite actors, and I saw that he was making a special appearance at a post-screening Q&A for one of his latest movies in Millerton, New York. Here are some photos of the event.
