‘U.S. News & World Report’ Uncovers the Best and the Worst of Connecticut in 2024
For nine decades, U.S. News & World Report has been providing useful, fact-based, and unbiased information to the public. As I was conducting my research, I came upon a recent article on the U.S. News website titled 'Best States Rankings' and found that Connecticut was ranked #16 overall. The Top 10 Best States, according to U.S. News, are:
- Utah (Yes!..Utah)
- Washington
- Idaho
- Nebraska
- Minnesota
- New Hampshire
- Iowa
- Wisconsin
- Vermont
- Florida (Really?!!)
U.S. News ranked states using eight separate categories: Crime and Corrections, Education, Health Care, Natural Environment, Economy, Fiscal Stability, Infrastructure, and Opportunity. Utah ranked first in both economy and fiscal stability. Connecticut did not rank first in any of the eight categories. Let's find out why the state came in at #16.
