A Connecticut Original Restaurant Opening 10th Location in State
A true Connecticut original has just announced that they are opening the doors of their tenth restaurant here in the state next weekend.
Wood-n-Tap is an American Restaurant/Bar & Grill that was started up by two partners, Phil Barnett and Mike Hamlin, in the early-2000s. The first location was opened on Hartford's Sisson Avenue in 2002. Since then, they've gone on to open up successful Wood-n-Tap locations in Farmington, Hamden, Newington, Orange, Southington, Rocky Hill, Vernon, Wallingford, and as of next week, the newest Wood-n-Tap will open their doors in Enfield.
Connecticut's newest Wood-n-Tap is located at 55 Palomba Drive in Enfield, and they will be opening their doors with a two-day grand opening celebration fundraiser on Friday, November 20, 2020, and Saturday, November 21, 2020. Wood-n-Tap is holding the fundraiser to benefit Enfield High School, it is a socially-distanced, pre-seated event that you have to pre-purchase tickets to. The tickets range from $80 for a table for two, up to $320 for a table of 8. It's important to note that the food is gratis, after you purchase a ticket. They're not going to gouge you, it's a fundraiser to benefit a local charity. If you're interested, click HERE to buy your tickets.
If you've never been to a Wood-n-Tap, they serve up classic American pub food; burgers, chicken wings, huge salads, pasta, tacos, steaks, and they have an extensive cocktail, wine, and beer selection at each of their locations. Good luck with the new location Wood-n-Tap.
