If you live near the boat launch at Latin's Cove on Candlewood Lake in Danbury, you may have heard quite a few emergency responder sirens and saw a ton of bright lights shining in the dark last evening.

Unfortunately, someone's vehicle, a blue pickup truck, went into the water at the boat launch. I can't imagine how terrifying it must have been initially, and how horrible it must feel to have this happen to you. The Brookfield Volunteer Fire Dept. Candlewood Company was on scene to capture the moments as it unfolded last night.
